Smoothies are more like a treat, but can be packed with protein so you can get all the nutrients you need with just a few ingredients and your blender. Mix up seasonal fruits and veggies to make endless flavors so you can fuel your workouts or just your morning with an easy to grab smoothie your taste buds will thank you for. Smoothies to Supplement Your Weight Loss

This weight loss smoothie is packed with protein, so it’s a great breakfast or post workout nutrition option. The ingredients used also ensure it has a thick consistency, so it tastes much more like a milkshake than a thinner fruit smoothie. Combine 1 scoop chocolate protein powder with a frozen banana, 1 tablespoon peanut butter, and 1 cup almond milk. Adjust almond milk until the shake is to your desired consistency.

This shake is a favorite, not only for it’s vibrant green color, but because the veggies are masked by banana and avocado. Combine 1 halved avocado, ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt, frozen banana, ½ cup of almond milk, handful of raw kale greens, and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Adjust almond milk until the shake is your desired consistency. While adding kale may seem off-putting, you won’t taste it with the mixture of vanilla, banana and creamy avocado topped with cinnamon! Greek yogurt also provides a healthy dose of protein!

Not in the mood for your morning oatmeal? Not to worry. This shake combines your morning staple with summer berries for a tasty, vibrant concoction that will have you ready to tackle the day. Combine ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt, ½ cup almond milk, ½ cup old fashioned oats, ¼ cup ice and berries of your choice. We like fresh blueberries, raspberries and strawberries, but you could also use blackberries, as well as frozen fruit. Adjust your milk as needed and enjoy!
