My Fitness Philosophy
Physical fitness is an idea that can take any shape that appeals to you...anything that creates the desire to keep going, push a little harder, challenge what you thought might not be possible. We all know that moving the body, and all the amazing things inside it, grows and strengthens us physically, but it can grow other things as well, including our mind, heart, and spirit. In other words, it's as simple as being open to finding something that you truly enjoy; even if you fail lots of times trying to find it! That joy is what will keep you going back for more. Go for it with an open heart, challenge yourself, and have fun!!
What Jersey Strong Means To Me
Our own unique journey may not look or feel exactly like someone else’s, but I believe that we all have something in common... it's the hope that, whatever path we choose, it takes us toward something fulfilling and meaningful. When our paths cross with others, it’s a gift to recognize when someone may need a hand or when one is extended to us as well. We are all here to help one another to keep going strong and forward in a positive direction. It’s about all of us saying to one another, “Hey, you can do this and if you can’t, I’ll help you and we can do it together.” It’s what we give to each other that builds us and our community "Jersey Strong"!
Why I am Passionate About Being at Jersey Strong
I can say without a doubt, that if it were not for the amazing, supportive instructor and member community at Jersey Strong, I may not be in the awesome position that I am in today. A shared love of fitness has led to me being able to work at a job that I love doing every day. Each moment that I am able to share with the people whom I teach and work with is an opportunity to make a true connection with someone on their journey and vice versa. We give each other inspiration, guidance, encouragement, and support. I am honored and grateful that I get to be part of someone else's journey toward becoming stronger, healthier, and happier in mind and body.
